Siam Songkran is an EDM festival that takes place during the legendary Songkran season.

This year it will last for 3 days and will feature headliners such as Tiesto, Steve Aoki, Zedd, and Martin Garrix. Other artists showcasing their talents are Chirs Avantgarde, Mandy, Subzero Project, Vini Vici, and many more.

Another great thing about Siam Songkran is that it will be a water festival so expect water cannons splashing all over as you rave.

The festival will also have Thai cuisine, cultural performances, and jaw-dropping stage visuals.

S2O

13–15 April

Similar to Siam Songkran, S2O is another water-based EDM festival that is scheduled during Songkran.

The festival is dubbed as the world's biggest and wettest party and it definitely will be this year.

Expect water cannons, laser lights, and unbelievable stage productions.

If you like artists such as The Chainsmokers, Armin Van Burren, Showtek, and Afrojack, you don’t want to miss this grand-scale music festival.

808 Festival

808 is one of Bangkok’s biggest and most anticipated EDM festivals that attracts a huge crowd of international and local mainstream fans.

However, the festival has branched out to less mainstream house and techno genres.

It has been around for many years and each time it is a massive hit.

The date for 2024 hasn’t been announced yet but it will probably be held around the end of the year like in 2023.

Marshmello, David Guetta, Calvin Harris, Skrillex, Zedd, Armin van Burren, Hardwell, DJ Snake, and an increasingly long list of superstar DJs have all performed at 808.

Rolling Loud

22-24 November

Rolling Loud is the biggest hip-hop festival in the world and the only one in Asia.

Last year in 2023, it made its debut in Pattaya, Thailand and it is back this year at the same location - The Legend Siam.

Rolling Loud features some of the biggest names in the rap and hip-hop industry. Artists like Travis Scott, Cardi B, and Chris Brown headlined Rolling Loud Thailand in 2023. There were also other big old-school artists such as Rick Ross and Fat Joe. Offset, Central Cee, Lil Pump, and over 70 other Asian and Thai artists performed at the 3-day massive event.

Other than music, the festival also had food, drinks, and carnival-like games.

2024 is hopefully about to be even better.

Wonderfruit

https://wonderfruit.co/

Wonderfruit is different from your average music festival. It is much more than just music.

If you are no stranger to Coachella, in simplest terms, Wonderfruit is something like that.

Wonderfruit is a combination of art, music, and culture. It has wellness and health activities, workshops, food, drinks, and unique shows all the while with music in the background.

Music-wise, it covers genres such as house, techno, disco, hip-hop, and even country-folk music blended with EDM.

The festival is truly a gathering of communities with 0 judgment.

And it goes on 24/7 for 3-4 days. Going through one or two nights and seeing the sunrise is one of the must-do things at Wonderfruit.

Neon Countdown

https://neoncountdown.asia/

Neon Countdown is the ultimate event to end the new year in Bangkok. It is an EDM festival that goes on for 3 epic days featuring some of the biggest and most popular DJs from around the world.

This festival has been around for a couple of years and it seems to be a hit every time.

Other than great acts with names such as Armin Van Burren, Hardwell, DJ Snake, Martin Garrix, Axwell, Afrojack, and more, Neon Countdown also has one of the best New Year countdown fireworks displays in the city.
